Human subtle anatomy (Maelinhon)

Over the past year, I have described in great detail the subtle anatomy of various beings from the subtle plane, and this topic seems incredibly fascinating. However, more and more I receive questions about the subtle anatomy of humans. It would seem that there are countless articles about the differences between the mental body, astral body, etheric body, yet questions still abound. People also try to access the subtle world through their physical bodies. Why is that? Personally, I believe that it’s not just about accumulating knowledge as such, but about understanding everything comprehensively. In articles about the subtle body, we only see a fragment of information, not the entire picture at once. It’s like a set of puzzle pieces scattered across different traditions and sprinkled with clever words.
It seems to me that studying different types of subtle bodies is roughly like memorizing one section of geometry by heart while ignoring all science — what’s the point? Let’s try to understand the complete scheme of how the human body works, where the soul is located, and how all variations of “bodies” from various esoteric traditions are integrated into it.

We will move according to the Taoist system, because the European style irritates me more and more.

Three human bodies

According to Chinese metaphysics, which goes back to the Taoist cosmology and understanding of the planets and elements influence on all objects in the Universe, a dense person has three bodies:

• The dense physical body, which is essentially meat, bones, water, fat and a little bit of Ego.
• The subtle energy body, which is a heterogeneous and layered body that conducts energies and Qi flows.
• The diamond body, also called the Rainbow Body or the Body of Light, which is essentially the soul. It is also the Matrix, it is also the Atmanic body in Indian philosophy.

And here – oops – for the first time we note a very interesting thing: the subtle body is not the soul, these are different bodies and different layers of reality, physiology and energy. How can all this be screwed onto a bunch of bodies that they describe in such detail? The mental body, the causal body, the astral body? Where are they in this system?

Let’s start with the diamond body.

The main form of life in the universe is still subtle, and any conscious being on the subtle plane is a kind of energy ball in which this personality “lives”, its soul, memories, essence, and a set of elements that make up this soul. For the subtle being, everything is simple: its subtle body is the essence, and the matrix is inside the subtle body, projecting the essence onto the form. The essence does not reborn, so it always has one personality, name and history, which are encoded in the matrix. Nothing superfluous.

Things are more complicated for humans, they live between the subtle and the dense, or, according to Taoists, between Heaven and Earth. That is, they must maintain a certain balance between the subtle and the dense, without going completely either way, and at the same time developing harmoniously. If a person goes completely into the dense, he degrades and lives by the interests of the body (yeeees). And if he goes into the subtle, then his perception is torn away from the earthly, Ajna flies into the stratosphere and here we get these crazy babbling fanatics who see nothing, hear nothing and only mutter about light/goodness/God… Alternatively, about the devil/darkness, but the mechanics of damage there is identical.

The system is complicated in humans’ case, as the matrix must interact with the subtle body, then with the dense body, and this is despite the fact that there are still a bunch of personalities from past incarnations, information about which must be stored somewhere. It turns out to be a kind of triple translator: the matrix, being outside the body, is attached to the assembly point, from where the personality is transmitted to the subtle body. And this whole sandwich already makes the dense body live and breathe.

The matrix, the energetic DNA and the soul of this being are primary. When a person is born for the first time, his diamond body looks like a white plaster ball – the matrix is empty and faceless, just a set of elements and an engine. Personality A grows, ages, dies. Reborns as B. Grows, ages, dies. Then appears as C. Grows… And so on. Each new incarnation is simply collected in an archive and transmitted from the assembling point to the subtle body, each time it is a new personality, not connected to the soul. Just a set of masks.

The point is that while a person is completely focused on the dense body and the current personality, the matrix remains unused, since the personality is not associated with the soul and is not connected to it in any way. The soul is pure and empty, the same plaster ball without a face. A person can be born and die hundreds of times until he gets to the interesting question: who is he? What is inside, in the soul? Who is this soul? What is inherent in it? And the understanding that all these masks of the past are not part of the matrix, that is, there is nothing under the mask yet.

Taoists believe that all these ethereal bodies and other subtle anatomy are just a tool for a person to create his Diamond body. Read: creates himself. He is no longer John or Mary, he is his soul. And only in this form is the soul able to go to other planes, travel and interact with the world on an equal footing. What the same Taoists poetically call merging with the stars 🙂 The meaning of work with personal history according to Castaneda, among other things, is erasing all masks and insignificant husks from the Assemblage Point. Simply put, what difference does it make whether you are John or Mary according to your passport, if your goal is to form the true Self and merge with it?

Mental, Astral and a bow on the side

To understand how the subtle body system is built, let’s briefly delve into the planets and the concepts of planetary karma, because it is the planetary scheme that gives a complete understanding of where all this astral and causal comes from, how it works. And as you know, I don’t like to just say that A is A, and B is B, I’m interested in WHY this is so.

There are 13 elements in the world, each of which either shapes the fabrics and materials of this world (everything, including you and the chair you are sitting on), or acts as a flow and wave of transformation for already created objects. In a broad sense, each planet forms a flow of particles and vibrations that create, like puzzle pieces, everything you see around you. The dense world is static and crystallized flows of energy, so Taoists describe the dense and subtle bodies as the same substance, but of different densities. To simplify as for a child, your gallbladder is particles of the element of Wood, your kidneys are particles of Water element, your heart is made of Fire element, and each type of tissue and fluid is ruled by a certain planet. That is, when the Moon (for example) enters a clinch with something around you, your brain starts to swim, your kidneys hurt, and you have nightmares. And if there is a clash of some frequencies and planets, then a disease or some problems appear that are subject to this element and planet.

The planets in the natal chart are not built just like that and not at random. Each person is a combination of elements, and each person has a leading element in the body. As a result, each creature or object is a marker of a certain planet for you. Simply put, in shopping centers you get into the sphere of the Metal element, in parks you dive into Water, and all the bosses carry Fire element for you. A chemical reaction occurs between what is inside you and what came from outside. For each type of leading element, this set will be different, and by interacting with each creature, you come into contact with the element, get into it. Moreover, each day and each hour carries its own element, as a result of which bad and good days, black and white stripes appear.

Let’s say you are a “Water” person. And when you meet a weak “Fiery” person, you act against your conscience, make this person suffer and, eventually, die. You splash yourself in the color of Fire element, like in old oil paint. And every time you are born again, your chart will be built so that Fire hits you on the head. Again and again, again and again… Until you balance this debt, until you wash the red color out of your history. And each planet will have a precisely prescribed position in your life and your body.

This is how a planetary chart is formed if you are living not the first time – each planet will be in the position that you deserve. Didn’t deserve the goodness of Jupiter? Get a sick liver! No fire? Get loneliness and zero interest for the opposite sex. Any events and facts of your life are the result of this chart construction, be it hemorrhoids, drug addiction, the inflow and outflow of money, marriages, appearance … This is a huge Rubik’s cube, where each facet, including the internal ones, has a certain frequency and elements. This grid is constantly in motion and works at very different levels, forming both events (more fire – fired from work) and these subtle bodies that esotericists love to gurgle about. By the way, this is the reason why amulets and magical practices may not work for someone. Roughly speaking, you have an inconvenient foundation with a perimeter of 3 meters, and you want to squeeze a 40-room mansion onto this base. If the card indicates lack of money and finances are not reinforced by the elements, then amulets will not work for you.

How are subtle bodies formed? By the way, I really don’t like the idea of bodies. I would call it “planes”, because when people hear the word “bodies”, they imagine something that looks like people, but in reality we have the edges of a Rubik’s cube, that is, sections and layers.

The flows of the planets intersect many times, both in statics and the body, and in the coming years. The combinations of all these planetary intersections are reflected in the body – this is a fine mesh of the endocrine system, metabolism, hormones and nerve impulses that create a thin veil called the Etheric Body. The Etheric Body works as a primary conductor and catcher of planetary nodes, in Ba-Tzu this is called Symbolic Stars. And any physiological process initially comes from the Etheric Body. It is there that psychosomatics originates.

To get the body to savvy what’s going on and react accordingly, it has the Ajna chakra, which captures all the information coming from the outside and in a certain section accumulates and structures it, and also stores everything that the brain imagined and dreamed about. This is called the mental plane and the mental body. There is no body there actually, but people really want to get a simple picture of a complex process, so let’s call the process of capturing and reacting to information — the mental body. It is very important for working on yourself, but does not affect events at all, so lovers of positive thinking and incoherent visualization can breathe out and relax – dreaming only is not enough for something new to come into life, you need to start with the planets. If there is no basis for the desired event, then dreams won’t make a difference.

Now, watch the hands. In addition to the 5 dense elements, there are also subtle elements in the world, and first of all, a person comes into contact with the element of Time. From the geometry point of view, the life process can be characterized as movement along the abscissa line. You are always at point Zero, and the element of Time moves in your face, you walk in this flow, as if against the wind. The element, passing through you, transforms and changes you, and on the line of movement itself, every 10 years, new “pillars” of planetary energy appear. This entire ikebana works as a single mechanism: the element of Emptiness creates a form, which is then filled with matter, creates objects and they move and transform along the way.

Just like that:

This entire complex machine works according to precise, mathematical cycles: all the planets move in orbits and produce a strict number of flows that pass through you and everything around you. Therefore, you can calculate in advance where and when it will hurt, and when a brick will fall on your head.

Each layer of existence, when crowds of people, events, lines run through it again and again, begins to transform, like a path trampled by feet. And these casts are called the Astral Plane. The Astral is an imprint and a trace of everything that had even a minimal energy potential in this particular place. There was a house – there will be a house here, a murder took place – there will be a stain. People were happy here – there will be a bright and pleasant zone. The Astral reflects everything that happened in this territory on all planes, gradually fading in the old events and objects and gaining new ones.

The Astral body is formed according to the same principle – it is a cast of all the changes and everything that has ever happened to you. All the dents, all the trodden paths, everything you have done, experienced and what has influenced you inside and outside. It is precisely there that all attachments to the people you’ve encountered in life are formed, and from that place, it is best to draw energy for your practice and to align your ‘self’ on all levels. All the wounds and channels that drain and deplete you are rooted there.

And, to continue the thought, all events that are formed by the planetary influences and arise on your path are part of the Causal plane. I do not agree with the statement that there is some kind of causal body; it seems to me that, given the nature of how events occur in life, this term more likely refers to the mechanics of how events appear and disappear through the planetary machine. However, such a phrase exists, and if we proceed from the understanding that we already have, then the causal body is you at this specific moment in your life, on this line where you are embedded in others’ lives and doing something. That is, the causal body is a point zero on the graph of the Element of Time, and in a second, you will have another body; then another, and so on until the end of life. Because you will never be “in tomorrow”; for you, there is only “now”, a point-event and a point-position. And for the probability line, you are also an event—just like a falling brick or rain.

Also in metaphysics there is a concept of the buddhic body and the atmanic body, but both of these terms can be safely thrown out of your head as unnecessary. The buddhic body is understood as the totality of all the events planned for life, what you will definitely and 100% have, that is, a schedule of bricks falling on your head (read: planetary periods and their events + karma). Simply put, it is a cast of fate. As for the atmanic body, everything is completely confusing there. The term itself comes from the Sanskrit word “atman”, which can be translated as “living essence”, “self”, that is, a certain Higher Self (I hate this phrase so much…), and this is a tracing from the Chinese concept of the diamond body and matrix.

Conclusions

What do we have in the end? If we consider people:

There is a Soul. As some kind of faceless and empty creation, which a person himself must form, going through various quests and life situations, polishing himself over many lives. In front of him, as if on a thread, hangs the Assemblage Point – a kind of film projector lens that broadcasts a changing kaleidoscope of personalities to the subtle body behind, approximately in the area of the shoulder blades. The layered subtle body, with all its layers, chakras, channels and meridians, is located in the dense body. It turns out to be a sandwich. When a person obtains self-conscience and reaches the maximum in development, his atmanic \ diamond body actually goes to the assemblage point and begins to broadcast the true personality. That’s it, he is now forever himself, and no one else, and therefore he is an entity.

If we consider any entities:

The entity has all the same, only it is folded in a different order and more simply. In the area of the solar plexus (or its analogue) – there is a Matrix, which is surrounded by a “lens” of the assemblage point. In other words, a kind of three-dimensional projector broadcasts a dense hologram of the soul, due to which the entity has an external appearance. And this subtle body the same way contains the causal, mental, etc. No longer a sandwich, but a neat nested structure. Entities also have a layered body and are subject to planetary karma, only it is built for them on a different principle, and a clear order of Qi phases simply does not exist for them. Any demon or deity lives on current phases, changing them depending on the events around, which is reflected in age, appearance, etc.

The system is incredibly complex, multidimensional and, alas, does not fit into simple and even columns of a simple table. So that you look – and immediately understand everything. But, if you want to UNDERSTAND how life, your body, worlds are arranged, where problems come from and how they are solved – you need to delve into this. Most esoteric sciences work on these principles, for example, mantics considers the causal and lines of probability, astrology outlines and corrects the very foundation of the body and personality, systems such as qi-men give an understanding of what position and point you are in now and what is around you, in terms of the planets and elements … In a word, digging into this, you understand WHY this or that event happened, what it is connected with and on what planes of existence it was reflected. Well, those who don’t dig deep, flounder in concepts like chakras, “negative energy” and curses, because they don’t have enough brains to dig into the source of the problem and study the bodies to the very bottom, and their dense body wants to eat every day.
