The Book of Changes: Horary for the Poor (Maelinhon)

Peace be with you.

This will be a kind of second part of one of my favorite articles — Thinking About Scumbags. In the first part, we considered a sore point for many people “Where do assholes come from in my life and why do they behave this way?” and answered it from a metaphysical point of view. Today, we will answer another sore point that I often hear from people: “When will all this end?!” Well, people like looking at the end of a book before reading it, and when they get into a difficult situation, they often think in the format of “when”, and not “what should I do to”. That is why today I would like to talk about forming events. How are events formed? Why do some happen quickly and abruptly, while others drag on for months, like chewing gum? Is it possible to spy on the scenario of your case in advance? What influences changes, why do some cases hang and fade away, despite efforts? Horary astrology will overturn the wonderful thesis of positive positivity lovers that “nothing is impossible”. Of course it is!

We will do all this using the wonderful example of the Chinese metaphysical system – the Book of Changes. I will explain to you how it works, how it does not work and why the Yi Ching system and Western Horary Astrology are the same system. This article is horary astrology for beginners!

Imagine any situation that you observed from the first event to the very end. For example, buying something or starting a business (before the first successes).

First, you had a Thought. For example, you looked in the fridge and found a lemon, a pack of mayonnaise and pickles, and it is time to go buy something to eat. One.

You got dressed, got ready, took the keys, left the house. Two.

Reached the store, started shopping there. Three.

Went to the checkout, paid for the purchases. Four.

Left the store, went to the post office or stopped for a smoke. Five.

Returned home, unpacked the loot. Six.

Probability line (simplest), the simplest horary is completed successfully. If you draw a line like this from the beginning to the end of any case, you will notice that each case has about 6 key points where something changed to move the process forward. For example, you noticed a pretty girl, then you met her, then you went somewhere together… That is, any case has a script with six key of the story.

The Chinese noticed this trick back in ancient times, and tracked the course of events (or rather, their subtle patrons provided them with this, and they studied and wrote it down) and reduced this observation to a system. They came to the conclusion that absolutely any business has 64 scenario options, from successful to the most deplorable, the entire space of options has 384 key points of events. All events in all worlds are played out according to one of these schemes. When the key scheme ends or reaches a dead end, a new one begins. You have finished the 41st scenario and started the 3rd. This applies equally to buying bread and to building giant empires, only the scale and time frames differ. Since they did not have horary online, all options were calculated manually.

To put all this madness into practice, imagine a platformer game. For example, Mario. Where you run from point A to point B, and you constantly need to overcome obstacles, jump on moving bridges, somewhere – look for detours and hidden levers to open the way. Sometimes you need to wait quite a long time until a slow bridge crawls to you. Jump too early – you fall into the abyss. Jump too hard – you fly over and fall into the abyss. This is what a typical hexagram from the Book of Changes looks like if you imagine it as an event: somewhere you wait (“acting is unfavorable”), somewhere – you rush with all your might, somewhere – you use tricks. The game has 64 missions and 384 game scenarios, each one hypothetically leads to success, but you can also fail the mission.

Whatever you do, whatever you want, you will always be in one of these scenarios, which are formed by a combination of planetary planes. Well, primitively speaking, success is formed by the convergence of the Venus and Mars planes, and horary questions will answer that a positive result is in scenarios 4, 8, 32, 47 and 62. This way – every bit of your history. 100% of the events around you are formed by the planets and the elements generated by them, which means the success largely depends on the moment at which you began the process and what was happening at that moment in the elemental planes. It happens that if you had started, well, literally half an hour later – then the result would have been completely different.

See. Everyone knows those wonderful periods in life, where time drags on like chewing gum? Absolutely nothing happens. You try, run, call, demand, bang on the table… but to no avail. No one is there, wait, then, come back tomorrow, we’ll talk later. Even if you bang your head on the table and scream with all your might – no effect. It’s as if you’re trying to run, but you’re running in place and only wasting energy. Literally a couple of hours can pass and the word comes to life. Something clicks and suddenly everything starts moving, you can contact people you need, they call you, they answer, etc. Have you ever had this? Everyone had. This is a clear illustration of changing stages of the situation.

The Chinese have designated that only peace and energy accumulation occurs in these periods. If you run and shout instead of accumulating, you will simply waste your energy and enthusiasm, and by the time the bridge finally arrives, you will no longer have any strength nor interest in it. If you exhale and go home to rest instead, then conditionally tomorrow morning, when the long-awaited step arrives to you, you are fresh, alert and ready for action. Therefore, in the Book of Changes there are passive and active periods, if you feel a passive segment of the scenario – do not waste your energy, there will be no sense.

You can’t go beyond the scenario grid, but you can switch to another scenario that has the outcome you need (if there are transitions available at the moment). For example, you started the game on the 1st hexagram of the 56th scenario, then smartly switched to the 3rd hexagram of the 9th scenario, and then finished the job on the 42nd scenario.

There can be slow, boring scenarios, but with a good outcome. There can be slow ones – with a bad one. There can be extremely negative ones. In each scenario, we can see those very cells where the “arrows”, “helpers” and events happen. There can be completely dead-end scenarios. Contrary to the stereotype common among people with poor brains, there is a huge amount of everything impossible in the world. Which you will never achieve. Well, at least not in the coming decades. Events, as I already said, depend on the position of the planets and planes, and they do not work when you want them to. They move along their own clear orbits and the point you need may be available only in January 2025. Or even in 20 years. You cannot just conjure it up in June 23rd, it is impossible, because the planet still needs to crawl to it. You need to either switch to another scenario or wait. Any magic, in essence, is a search for options in lines and scenarios, and if there is a “window” nearby for your question, then runes work well, and anything else works with a click. It just comes together by itself. But if there is no bridge available – then even if you hang amulets on yourself, like on New Year tree, it will not work. And here is the main reason for such different results among practitioners. One wanted what was available, only a slight push was needed, and the other wished to become the president of America tomorrow, although there are not even elections there, and he is not a US citizen. Don’t laugh, for many people “runes do not work” for approximately such requests.

Horary Astrology 1.0.

In the times when there were no computer programs and automatic texts for calculating natal charts (I curse their creator forever!), and astrologers still thought a little with their heads, Western astrology was reduced mainly to horaries. What is horary? In a broad sense, it is the calculation of the planets’ position at the time of asking the question. That is, a client would come to the sage and ask – “If I go to war against my neighbor this month, will I be successful?” The sage looked at what was happening at the moment in planes and elements, and saw that no, right now everything will go to hell. The right period will be in 7-8 months or a year. Such a time when the space itself will help the goal and become “smooth”. What did he do? That’s right, he looked at what stage of events the questioner is currently on, and what is happening around him, are there any loopholes, and horary numerology will answer these questions.

The Yi Ching system does exactly the same thing, only the scenarios are written in advance and the calculation is not done in astronomical, but in mantic technique. Simply put, the Book of Changes is a collection of all 384 horary options that a Westerner can get 🙂 Whoops, right? It’s just that to use the Yi Ching, you don’t need to look for well-qualified astrologer, pay him money, wait, etc. All you need is 1 hand, 1-2 eyes, a coin and a pen. And, in fact, the Book of Changes itself, or its laconic interpretations, for example, the works of Roger Green or Stephen Karcher. If you use services like online horary astrology, then you are again relying on your Uncle, not on yourself. So think carefully.

How to Use It All – Horary Astrology Basics

1. Using the “poor man’s horary”, as I jokingly call the Book of Changes, is not difficult. To master the basics of horary astrology, take a coin or other object with 2 sides and symbols on them. Determine which is heads and which is tails. Throw it on the surface 6 times, thinking about your question. If tails come up, draw two lines “– –”, if heads, then one “—–“. Draw 6 lines from the bottom up. Find the resulting hexagram in the Book of Changes (or any version of its interpretation). Estimate which line approximately corresponds to your current position and what advice or conclusion is given there.

The difference from horary here is that horary looks at the position of the planets astronomically, but a cube or a coin is a connection to the probability lines through the plane of the Chaos element. Classical mantics with an uncontrolled loss of options.

2. Any event and its success depends on three things:

— The time of start of the action. All events happen not why, but when, most events do not have any particular reasons, the most probable ones just happen. If you start a business in a bad period, then from the first minute it will not go smoothly and has every chance to fail. You will have to maneuver, switch, etc. The more serious your request, the more specific the start time you need. Or you will have to wait a very long time for the result until the necessary highway appears, years and even decades may pass.

— Your resource. Maneuvers require energy, and the more, the better. Energy in one’s body is distributed from one bucket to everything, so if there are health problems, most likely there will be problems with money and other things (not enough gasoline for everything!). And from this position you will not be able to push the line where you need to overcome the great resistance of space. Simply put, you cannot earn even 10 dollars, but you are trying to earn a million at once. In other words, you want to get to point B, 1000 km away, and you have 2 liters of gasoline. Is it worth starting? Or better save up some fuel and start within another period?

— Coordinating actions with the space and priorities of the participants. Your idea will not be well received by everyone in the world, someone will be sick of it, and someone will even actively interfere with you. And they may have more resources than you. Each person has his own internal cycles, depending on which he sets priorities in life. And if you have a burning desire “I want children” (for example), and your partner’s priorities right now are work and career (or vice versa), he most likely will not rush to help you with all his passion. Yes, he may give you a half-hearted nod, but this is not agreement. Which again brings us to an unfavorable time.

3) Each line of the hexagram is equal to seven. Seven seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, centuries… Depends on many factors. The more complex the matter, the more side lines must be pumped up for it to move. It happens that you started a line, there was no effect, you abandoned it. 14 years passed, and SUDDENLY everything took off. This means that this is the cycle that was needed for the whole puzzle to come together, for everyone to understand everything, decide, get there, etc. Horary with decoding will help you understand what’s what. Therefore, if you change the vector of your actions, repeate your request in 7 hours or 7 days.

4) There is a golden rule of seven regarding waiting periods. And not only in the Yi Ching. It sounds like this:

If there are no cardinal changes and switches to a new line within 7 months, then most likely the situation will not be resolved in your favor.

Why is that? Because 7 is the number of Ketu, it is a plane of the past and everything connected with past. In other words, this is the period of “pumping up” all the planes and time for a full revolution of the probability lines around you. Simply put, in 7 months all possible doors are pumped up, and if the needed one is not there, then most likely it will not be there. Seven months are enough to finish all the cases, make decisions, make changes, etc. If a person does not do this in six months, it means he does not want to or cannot. If no events happen in six months, it means you are at a dead end and there is no point in waiting for a “bridge”, because a new bridge will be in 7 years. Leave, change the vector, do not waste your time.

Note: random events are not key points, only those after which the whole situation changes. For example, “we went to a restaurant” or “he finally called me” is not a step, but “he proposed to me” is a change of line to the next one.

Note 2: You can leave the scenario and succeed by changing the direction, companions or goal. But in the other scenario, everything will not be exactly as in the first. For example, you do get married in the specified period, but to a different partner.

5) Immediately accept the option that you may not succeed. Think through the most negative scenarios, think through your actions in such a case. Do not “tune in to the result”, this can only disappoint you more. If you have an active line and you need to perform – then put the pedal to the metal, make no doubt and do not pass, be flexible. Horary astrology shows the direction of movement, and not all the factors that are around you.

6) If your situation depends on another person, for example, there is a question of feelings, relationships, marriage, children, some personal decisions, then the Yi Ching may begin to float in answers. Horary for relationships is inaccurate, because it is connected with people’s actions in the personal sphere, which is less tied to general highways, and more to personal tacts and personal racing thoughts in one’s head. Simply put, the Book of Changes looks at the space of event scenarios, and a personal attitude towards you is not an event, it is the result of combination between your elements and other person’s elements. This is not an event (causal) plane at all, but an astral or mental one.

7) The larger the task, the more time and resources are needed to implement it. Simply put, we cannot build a business empire in 7 days. Most likely, we will not build it in 7 years either, but we can achieve success and outline a plan for the future.

I wish you the right decisions and magnificent results.
