Spirit of the Eagle: Samsara in American style (c) Julay Madyara
A hang glider has disappeared. People ask an Indian if he has flown by.
– No, – says the Indian, – he hasn’t flown by. Big Eagle has flown by. I shot all my bullets before he let the man out of his claws.

Yá’át’ééh everyone!
You know about something that almost everyone has heard, but no one asked the question “what is it anyway?”. The main excitement and all the information channels in the esoteric mass media have so far been mostly concentrated around the cults and civilization that arose in the Old World: Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, North Africa and Central Asia. Wherever you look in the news, resonant events of cults always emerge in the sphere of traditions of the same regions. The Pope publicly blurted out another stupidity (in which country is his main residence?); a mullah got upset about a place for the construction of another prayer house soaked in pig’s blood; an Ayurvedic Rodnoveri prescribed a client to drink melt water, as a result of which he died of intestinal sepsis; the followers of a sadistic-satanic sect nailed a goat to a board for being a moron… Well, as an example of the most crazy news that the yellow press loves, although there is a lot of positive news too.
There is enough schizophrenia everywhere, however, oddly enough, the Earth is not limited to the above-mentioned territories and the world cannot technically converge into a wedge on a narrow segment of area, religion, history and personalities that set the main leitmotif of modern culture and the world in which we live. What is the culture – such is the world. Like to like.
On the other side of the issue under consideration and the globe, other, rather interesting topics emerge. Surely, in this hackneyed thousand-year-old chewing gum of myths from reality and fiction, there must be something NOT popular, NOT well-known, NOT shabby with a million hands and opinions, about which too little is said, or they remain silent because of the almost complete information vacuum?
How did remote and isolated regions of the planet develop their own individual history before the Age of Discovery, while Europe and the Middle East were fighting for faith, territory and human masses? How did people in regions as far removed from European civilization as possible live, think about, and see the world? People who had neither writing nor the habit of putting only one Imaginary Friend at the head of the table and granting him all the goodies acquired by backbreaking labor, but who already had significantly developed medicine, astronomy and complex planning of activities according to annual and climatic cycles. In this block of articles, I will talk about the metaphysics and traditional practices of the peoples of North and South America, Oceania, Australia, Central Africa, Siberia and Southeast Asia – territories on the strictly opposite side of the planet from those places where the greatest attention of the masses has historically been directed. Let’s go (and, I hope, over time we will move as far as possible) from the opposite. Our project searches for and provides freely accessible information that is relevant at the moment, cleared of disinformation and garbage, but also that which has never been published anywhere before and must have its authors in the world of people. So let’s talk about those places where direct communication with the subtle worlds lasted the longest and most strongly, and the people resisted aggressive monotheistic propaganda to the last, preserving (albeit in a castrated version) fragments of something very interesting. Today we will talk about North America.
StereoTypes
Probably, it is unethical to describe what pre-Columbian American culture is associated with in modern people, and it is not worth doing in post-Soviet countries in particular, due to the overwhelming desire of ordinary people to gag at the “retarded idiot”, which, let’s not lie, automatically includes everyone who does not wear a cross-shaped pendant around their neck. Scalps, peace pipes, plumes and all that stuff are in every first Western in heaps, which is what most stereotypes about the inhabitants of America in particular and their worldview in principle are made up of. As a rule, the average person does not look beyond all this book and movie tinsel – he simply has no need, since it is impossible to pump out a clearly visible and tangible profit from the topic. The culture and religious practices of America have never implied “barter exchange” with anyone on the Subtle to get tangible goodies.
The idea of putting a candle in a temple and finding a beautiful wife there the next day was absent in principle, as were strictly regulated rituals and elevating priests to a rank close to the celestials. Priesthood was widespread in the cultures of Central and South America from 2000 BC until the arrival of the Portuguese ships, and was practiced at a fairly high level: there were “colleges” where astrologers, shamans-communicators and geomancy were trained, who, along with a metaphysical base, were required to be deeply versed in mathematics and astronomy. It was on their calculations that the architecture, place and time of construction of cities were based, advantageous dates for the beginning and end of wars with neighbors were sought, tutorials were written for agronomists – when and where to plant what plants, at what time to water, when to harvest. The priests of Mesoamerica were also well versed in statistics, using both scientific and metaphysical theory in half to calculate the probability of droughts, long torrential rains, volcanic activity, outbreaks of epidemics and so on and so forth, which made life much easier for citizens. Since there is no clear evidence of the profit of American shamanism left in the information environment of the modern world, we will analyze, publish and apply it. I will say for myself that while studying it, you can be shocked three times and never get over it again, how versatile and utilitarian it is even for peaceful secular life. Thanks to the shamanic Tao, knowing some nuances that restore faith in your own strength and solve psychological problems, you can live the best version of your life and be the most true Warrior, 5/2 without leaving the walls of the factory utility room or even living without a roof over your head. The only requirement is the presence of this very head on your shoulders.
Invasion of Portuguese ships
We won’t go into the chilling horror that still wafts from the topic of the colonization of both Americas and the Spanish Conquest — after all, our article is about shamanism, not genocide. But, for the sake of honesty, I will say that… just imagine the worst thing you can remember about the human race, and multiply it by 5 — you will get an approximate equivalent of all the suffering and refined, unclouded trash that, since the 1500s, was arranged on newly discovered continents and islands by the efforts of preachers and agitation-trained soldiers. There is an opinion that the mental cross-section inherent in the indigenous inhabitants of North America absolutely, with an accuracy of 0%, does not fit into the brain of a person raised from childhood within the framework of European or Eastern culture. In other words, to understand Indian logic, you have to be an Indian, and we don’t do race-change operations yet, so the shop of cultural peculiarities remains closed and strictly private “for our own”. Attempts to somehow stretch the native worldview onto a head sewn according to civilized patterns turn into a dialogue between two aliens. Missionaries at one time very painfully ran into this lag in propaganda work on the christianization of indigenous tribes and, without further ado, on behalf of the All-Forgiving Central Prayer House, these indigenous tribes were stupidly cut out because the guys DID NOT UNDERSTAND the logic of events in the holy book read to them in the Goblin translation, and therefore refused to put a cross-shaped pendant on their necks. Even for a gifted gun, buckshot and a skirt with embroidery.
Once I read a “funny” (no) fact.
During the times of the great conquests, some missionaries from Holland were reprimanded by pirates (!!!), who had moored somewhere in the same exotic area to get some water. They saw what methods, tortures and hot irons the representatives of the most humble religion used to instill faith in Yahweh in the local population. And even the hardened sea goons felt uneasy. They said, guys, of course it’s your business, but these are living people, why are you torturing them at maximum? … Empathy there, all that, right? Haven’t you heard? (c) Mylene Maelinhon
— We haven’t heard. — the missionaries seemed to answer them. — Keep in mind that when the natives run out, they’ll get to you too.
An additional spoke in the wheel is that the mental sections of peoples and cultures that did not have “centralized opinions” — that is, not strictly stubbornly stuck to one ideology and allowing their people different options to live and think in their own way — do not have the option to Resist the aggressive imposition of an Alien mentality with a worldview focused on occupation and bending over infidels. The native minds simply could not accept the fact that some alien people were coming to visit not to seize resources and territories, but also to attack, among other things, knowledge and culture. For example, the Aztecs in the old days fiercely caused a stir and beat up almost all their neighbors, but considered it unthinkable to burn enemy literature, destroy religious objects and monuments of art. They appropriated — yes, but did not mix it with earth and ashes. The neighboring tribes accepted their citizenship, paid taxes, agreed to protect their lands and, in turn, went to fight for the Aztecs themselves, wherever the Chief sent them. So when the heat started to turn and the books flew onto the inquisitorial fires, the indigenous population experienced a global rupture of the template, the crackling of which could be heard as far away as Chukotka.
Closer to the topic
The law is not written for a fool. If it is written, then it has not been read, if it has been read, then it has not been understood, if it has been understood, then it is not so.

Indologist enthusiasts, who by education or good will have decided to delve into American shamanism, stumble upon the works of ethnographers who, in the same way, only skimmed the very top layer of the history and culture of indigenous peoples. And then the prospector’s shovel suddenly clangs and stumbles upon the works of “our everything” – Carlos Castaneda. Anyone with an esoteric (or close to it) mindset instantly gets bogged down in Castanedaism up to their ears and gets stuck for months, or even years, taking this Talmud for the immaculate truth of the last resort, which must be followed strictly, no matter how clumsy and strange the language in which all this was written and read. But in reality, the books that Carlos published about his adventures in Mexico are such a terrible game of dumb phones that your hair stands on end and then withers from the hopeless stupidity of the author. In no way do we criticize the very idea of this series of books – for savvy people this is a priceless gift on par with the works of Lao Tzu, but in order to use it correctly, you need to know the metaphysical basis of the work of the World, which, unfortunately, is not in this book. In practice, the Castaneda people get something reminiscent of a schoolboy trying to assemble a helicopter, using instructions for a top-class mechanic, but without understanding what “aerodynamics” is.
So now we are going to figure out the basis without which the helicopter will not take off. Don Juan and Don Genaro spent ten years cramming the uncrammable into Carlos’s head, and then went to the Other Side without taking the guy with them so that he could preserve and spread their course on domestic magic, and… perhaps they were simply tired of tolerating his company in their old age. Anyone who has read the Castaneda Talmud will understand the author’s butthurt: Carlos was selflessly dumb, resisted with his hands and feet, and did not want to get into the material being explained until the very end – spectacularly and with a rare persistence that could barely be knocked off dead center only by psychedelics. And even then, the anthropologist did not know their limits, which is why he psychedelicized to the point of his liver falling off, using not the most kosher analogues of it instead of kosher acid. I suspect that even Mescalito, looking at this, cried bitter tears. And if you look closely, right here, under the multimeter thickness of water with the author’s personal pens, there is a very… strange thing. Have you heard of the Eagle Spirit? Those who have, can roughly imagine what we are talking about, and for those who are not familiar, we will explain. In the book, the Eagle Spirit was described as a thing around which the autochthonous beliefs of North American Indians are built.
That there is, supposedly, our world, which the Eagle watches over. It is this global and all-encompassing crap that closes the world of people from the world of spirits and eats up unsuccessful Warriors after death. All paths lead to the Eagle and come from it (this, by the way, is not a lie – I saw it myself), but whether it is some kind of higher power, or a personality, or the Great Spirit, or even the seventh metaphor on jelly – you can’t figure it out without peyote, and the original data carriers themselves have forgotten the essence of the matter for two hundred years. And the Europeans immediately called this crap father-son-haunted spirit, so the natives, who were the least critical, swallowed the new ideological hodgepodge and asked for more.
Castaneda has a basic concept in his books – erasing personal history. Including all knowledge about oneself and the world. And, at the same time, a single god is mentioned several times. Where, one wonders, did he dig it up from, if after erasing data a person shouldn’t even know what a “god” is? And God is suddenly clearly visible there, and we again, however, came to the sea. Such a concept does not exist and has never existed anywhere except monotheism.
Well, perhaps Akhenaten in Egypt once tried to pull off something similar, but his fellow citizens pelted him with camel bales for this deed while he was still alive. In addition to erasing history, which Carlos focused on in the first books, the theme of forays into the subtle by all available means with the possibility of anchoring there after death, having developed connections, authority and having come to the worlds already as Someone with Something, and not as a nameless shadow with a hole from a donut in his pocket, begins to develop. Then Don Juan told Carlos how Central American sorcerers were screwing this Eagle in order to quietly get out of the world of people, while he was screwing sorcerers and rolling out the 100500th update, covering up the loopholes dug up by practitioners from This side to That.
Specifically in North and Central America, this turned into a separate mind-blowing saga about porridge in the heads – perhaps worse than the one that was spun around the patchwork Lucifer.
“Don Juan said that the ancient seers were able to see an indescribable force that is the source of all beings, although they had to expose themselves to incredible dangers to do so. The ancient seers called this force the Eagle, because the few glimpses that allowed them to see this force gave them the impression that it resembled something similar to an infinitely huge black and white eagle. They saw that it is the Eagle that bestows awareness. It creates living beings in such a way that they can enrich the awareness received from it along with life in the process of life.” (c) Carlos Castaneda, “Journey to Ixtlan”
Let’s break this point down.
Practical shamans, who have been found among people since time immemorial, specifically on the American continent, were able to document the following information: the planet is inhabited by many beings that make up its biosphere. Some of them are intelligent – on This Side of the World there are people, on That Side there are spirits. The entire array of living beings in the Earth’s biosphere must be supplied with energy on time, the souls of dead beings must be picked up (Who eats corpses? That’s right, a scavenger bird), cleaned of the dirt that has accumulated over life and reincarnated into new ones, so that an ecological imbalance of species and a disproportion in the distribution of energy + living matter between them does not arise.
The comments to the legend showed that the readers had completely misunderstood its message. “Oh, yes, in many fairy tales they give away an eye in exchange for wisdom…” Guys, it’s not about the eye. Giving away an eye is a metaphor. The grandfather-storyteller specifically clarified for the listeners: the main character gave away parts of what made up his usual picture of the world. That is, the mouse could no longer perceive reality half the way it did before the first connection with the Subtle Ones. With the loss of the so-called “second eye,” a person heading for the exit from the System can completely turn off the perception of the human world. In fact, he no longer needs it, remaining only to maintain an external image, so that ordinary people would not pick on him. And a person finally sees the light only behind the wall of density, in an updated form, already on the Subtle Ones. Having corrected his karma, having an incredible amount of personal Power and a crystal-clear Will, he jumps above his head and defeats the System. That same Samsara, which is also the Eagle, which in the same way catches and eats every “mouse that has stuck its head out of its hole,” if it does not come up with a strategy for defeating this all-seeing thing.
So, the original people and exiled entities in human bodies, with the course of history, built civilizations and enriched the mental cross-section of the Earth (or noosphere, call it what you want) with their developments, giving generous energy deductions to the Eagle-Samsara, which in full, down to the last penny, went into the hands of its admins, and no one could openly escape from under the total supervision of this mining farm with an area of the planet. Although some sly individuals still managed to sneak from the physical to the Subtle, practitioners found these loopholes and exploited them for their own benefit until the next update rolled in and closed all the “pick-up cracks.” Don Juan Carlos was talking about these methods of getting out of the System. But, let’s be honest, time goes by, the screws have tightened more since the 60s of the last century, and at the moment some of the methods given in the book have lost their kosher status. However, the practices for becoming a Warrior are still relevant and effective. The fact that America has always been inhabited by void spirit races, which are known to be directly related to birds, further confuses the facts. Or rather, our birds and some reptiles have common evolutionary patterns with them.
And among the American void spirits there is an extremely interesting person — ataa’ Mochin (Father Mochin, as a respectful form of address). And it was HIM, and not some abstract bullshit, that the Indians called the Great Spirit or Gitchi Manitou, and other call signs. Only the term “manitou” from the Shoshone and Ojibwe languages is, after all, more general and applicable to any conscious subtle beings. Mochin is a venerable and very old dimuth with centuries of experience in observing people hanging around nearby. The indigenous people of the territories from the Great Lakes in the north to the Chihuahua Valley in the south communicated with him directly and through mediums, asked for advice, shared news, invited him to holidays – in short, they had been conducting a conscious dialogue for centuries. And this is despite the fact that Mochin himself can change into different images, and his favorite form is a huge eagle, with a wingspan of about the same as a private plane. This is how he can be seen in the sky of the Mojave Desert, where Grandpa lives to this day. The main nuance was that Mochin himself personally instructed some particularly advanced guys on how to get out from under the watchful eye of Samsara, without letting it bite off anything along the way, thereby achieving a personal victory over the “Eagle Spirit”. Many of the trainees succeeded.
By the way, those statues of warriors that stand near the capital city of Tula (aka Tollan, not the one with samovars and gingerbread) are not just any random people who posed for sculptors, but real warriors who once lived: individuals who managed to complete their quest and leave Samsara for the subtle ones. For which they were honored with the erection of monuments and respect among the masses, as examples of human strength and the desire to obtain their own, personal freedom, which no one will ever take away.
Let’s put together a puzzle from the above points, plus the decline of North American culture by the late Middle Ages (there was no clear connection with the subtle ones even then and information was lost), plus intertribal wars, chaos and destruction, plus the broken sermons of European missionaries with their books, the crossed sticks on the covers of which reminded the natives of an eagle’s paw. The result of superimposing nonsense on facts was a crushing failure of Mochin’s program to promote personal contacts to exit Samsara and the final disintegration at the seams of the domestic culture of animism, replaced and eradicated by the imported monotheism. For Mochin, this became a personal catastrophe: to see how his own wards with naive joy believed and themselves joined in the propaganda or made weak and uncoordinated attempts at resistance, getting even more scolded for them. The culture, together with the remains of the ancestors, mixed with dust and went back to where it came from – into the Void. And then this trash began, and the crookedness rushed into the crack:
Merging with the Eagle Spirit in this context is already starting to look funny to the point of hiccups, because I have seen many times how a mouse merges with the digestive tract of a kestrel. Of course, this is a cool goal, but only if you are a mouse and not a person with a claim to consciousness.
The real eagle spirit smokes gloomily somewhere in the night desert.

Wake up.
You just have to wake up,
And then
We will live and not die.
Wake up,
You just have to wake up,
And then
We will live and not die.
With your last breath
It’s hard to open your eyes
Even to the width of a blade of grass
And see everything you loved,
So much, when the world was
As small as you.
The cry of the wind in the canyons
And flowers on the banks of springs.
The heat of the desert sands
And stones dancing on the plains.
All this is on the wings of my spirit-Father,
Which reach the Sun.
Frozen waterfalls
And pines sleeping in the white mountains,
Frosty rose hips
And wormwood Moon on a blue cloak.
All this is in the eyes of my spirit-Father,
Which see the Sky.
Green flame of grass,
The tramp of thousands of bison
And gray prairie cuckoos,
Building nests in our tracks.
All this is on the palms of my spirit-Father,
Which I touch with mine.
Wake up.
We just need to wake up,
And then
We will live and not die.
Wake up,
We just need to wake up,
And then
We will live and not die.
